Building a Private Ramp: Final

On June 10, 2011, a private mini-ramp called "La Embajada" was resurfaced and resealed with masonite.  The ramp was previously surfaced with a 1/4" layer of ply coated in polyurethane(on top of the two layers of 3/8" plywood) as the final layer.  Here is the process of layering the final layer...
Sweeping the tar-paper off to lay down the masonite.  Tar-paper is used under the shingles on roofs to keep water from getting to the wood.
James Hosoi and Luis Galindo screwing down the first sheet of masonite!
 First sheet down!

They call it "The Embassy".
 Progress. Almost complete!
He has a sick mini in his backyard, and he doesn't even understand how cool that is!
Ivan Lozano, sanding down the masonite, for that perfect fit!
Changing the set-up to rip up the newly surfaced mini!
Shaly with those mega-micheladas!
The final pieces.
Valentin, still sanding that final piece!
Sweeping Her down for the session to come!

 Better put that phone away!

 So Fresh!
